Toyota MR2, CarbonEFX Carbon Fiber Phase Hood
Here's an interesting design, a totally original style for the Toyota MR2. We purchased the molds from another company since we knew the fitment was spot-on. This huge drop vent required the hood to be manufactured in-house on a MR2 so the depth of the vent and angle would be just right. It requires removal of the spare tire and surrounding plastic trim. The design is fully functional, in 2 ways. First off this hood has a function drop vent, for a race mr2 this will help create downforce if an opening is made to channel air into the duct. Since most people will not want to make this modification you can still benefit by the humped design which channels from the radiator and out the drop vent as well.
